Morning Worship

morning

Morning worship takes place in the church building between 11:00am and 12:15pm. The praise is led by the choir and our musical director, with regular input from the Praise Band.

Children from Nursery to P7 leave mid way through the service and go to the church halls for FOG Club, young people in first year leave at the same time for Elevation AM.

A Crèche is available and can be accessed at any time through the rear of the church building, or by using the stairs at the front left in the interior of the church building.

Together Service: On the fourth Sunday each month, children, young people and adults remain together for the entire service. Special provisions are made for children and young people (worksheets based on the sermon) and the crèche is still available.

All are welcome to stay for tea or coffee in the halls afterwards.

Sunday Morning:

5th February 2012 - Tearfund Sunday

11.00am

Scripture Reading: Psalm 100 and Matthew 5:13-16

Speaker: Mr Simon Haile, Kale Heywet Church, Ethiopia

Sunday 12 February 2012 will be our Tearfund lunch.

Last year, and again this year, the collection will be used to support Tearfund's Self-Help Project linked to their partner Kale Heywet Church in Ethiopia.

We are delighted that our special speaker next Sunday will be Simon Haile from the Kale Heywet Church.

Simon will be able to give us a first hand account as to how God is blessing this project which has enabled people to live with dignity and to provide for their families.

Many have also experienced the hope and joy that comes with new life in Jesus. A number of First Antrim members will also be taking part.

Your presence at this special service and at the lunch would be a real encouragement to those associated with the work of Tearfund.
