Harvest 2008

Once again we come to that time of year when we acknowledge God's goodness to us and remember His soverienty and providence. On Sunday morning the Choir were able to help us focus on these things through the words of several beautiful songs. The following is a short extract from one of them:
Creation sings the Father's song;
He calls the sun to wake the dawn
And run the course of day
Till evening falls in crimson rays.
His fingerprints in flakes of snow,
His breath upon this spinning globe,
He charts the eagle's flight;
Commands the newborn baby's cry.
Hallelujah!
Let all creation stand and sing,
"Hallelujah!"
Fill the earth with songs of worship;
Tell the wonders of creation's King.Words and Music by Keith & Kristyn Getty and Stuart Townend

As usual the Church building was beautifully decorated by Lorna Weir and many other volunteers, below are just a few snaps of their handiwork. Well done!
