Teens

While our youth organisations offer excellent opportunities to young people in our community, the Education and Library Board have recognised that more and more older teenagers are reluctant to come into organised events. Their response has been to commission youth workers to find these young people on the streets and work with them there.

- Would you be willing to undergo short training and join a team who would be
outside pubs and clubs in Antrim to offer a cup of coffee to young people?

- YMCA in our town have struggled to get enough volunteers to keep the doors
open...would you be willing to give a night a week/month/ do something specific?
